Developed in collaboration with polar explorer Børge Ousland, who has relied on the Expedition series by Devold during his adventures, here is the Devold Expedition Arctic Pro Hoodie.

As a result of his feedback and wishes, this men's base layer has been enhanced with a "kangaroo pocket" at the front. A place to warm your hands in extreme weather conditions, with room for both hands at the same time and also as a pocket to store batteries.

The pocket is placed above the waist to avoid collisions with the carrying systems of the backpack/sled at the hips. The hood is carefully shaped to fit the head, to prevent heat loss from the neck and exposed areas of the head region, and to fit under a thicker hat.

Finally, the high collar can be pulled over the nose, with breathing holes to increase moisture wicking from the face in very low temperatures.

  • Materials: 100% Merino wool
  • The Aquaduct treatment gives the garments superior moisture-wicking properties
  • Total Easy Care Merino wool: machine washable and tumble dry
  • Weight: 310 g/m2
