If, like us, you love to experience beautiful adventures at the other end of the world. If, like us, you dream every night of escaped trails and mountainous landscapes. If, like us, you have tattooed the Tour du Mont Blanc on your thigh, then you are definitely a member of the Trek Fanatic Club (TFC)! As a member, you have no time to lose and must seek out your next trek. The French massifs (the most beautiful in the world) are calling you, but we completely understand if it's the Milford Track, the W circuit, Mount Kailash, or Kilimanjaro that have your heart. Our only recommendation is to equip yourself well to savour your adventure, and as Pierre Dac said: 'For walking, the most beautiful hat in the world is no substitute for a good pair of shoes.'
Experienced trekkers know this well, and beginners deserve to be informed; it is essential to wear a very good pair of shoes to enjoy a trek to the fullest. Indeed, what could be more unpleasant than having to stop in the middle of your journey because you are suffering terribly due to your precious feet being irritated and sensitive, or because your back is torturing you due to a lack of support around your ankles... Your hiking boots should be selected based on the type of terrain you will encounter, your pace of progression, and the weather conditions you might face. High, low, Vibram soles, Gore-tex or not, breathable or very warm, your hiking boots must remain comfortable and protective to never spoil your explorer's itinerary.
