If, like us, you love to embark on wild adventures at the other end of the world. If, like us, you dream every night of winding paths and mountains. If, like us, you have tattooed the Tour du Mont Blanc on your back, then you are definitely a member of the Trek Fanatic Club (TFC)! As a member, you should not waste another minute and must seek out your next trek. The French mountain ranges (the most beautiful in the world) are calling you, but we completely understand if it’s Kilimanjaro, Annapurna, or the Inca Trail that beckons you. Our only recommendation is to equip yourself well to fully enjoy the journey, and as Pierre Dac said: “For walking, the most beautiful hat in the world is not worth a good pair of shoes.”
Experienced trekkers know this well, and beginners deserve to be informed; it is essential to wear a very good pair of shoes to enjoy your treks 100%. Indeed, what could be more unpleasant than having to stop in the middle of your adventure or suffering greatly because your precious feet are irritated and sensitive, or your back is torturing you due to lack of support around your ankles... Your trekking shoes should be chosen based on the type of terrain you will encounter, your pace of progression, and the weather conditions you might face. Low-cut, high-cut, Vibram soles, waterproof or not, breathable or very warm, your trekking shoes must remain comfortable and protective to never spoil your explorer's journey.
