The carbon-reinforced Grilamid® shell makes the Vega Woman both lightweight and durable, while the patented Vertebra Technology™ enhances power transmission with a 125 flex, ideal for controlled descents.

With a 60° range of motion and an EZ Flex™ inner liner, they are designed to ease walking, technical passages, and ascents. Finally, the bi-density Vibram® sole ensures reliable grip, and dual compatibility with Race TECH and AT bindings offers optimal versatility.

• G-Shell™: ultra-compact shell: only 303 mm in length, size 27.5. Made from lightweight Grilamid® to reduce thickness and weight while maintaining structural strength. The cuff features unprecedented mobility of 60° in total with closed buckles (30° forward and 30° backward) and the innovative Rear Diffuser ensures more stability and safety around the ankle when the shell is closed in the forward position.

• Cuff: the bi-axial Dual-Axis Cuff™ is composed of 2 synergistic elements: 1) a dual-density Pebax® part with double Climbing System Control™ buckles that provide lateral stability control and increase ankle articulation during ascents, 2) the patented carbon-loaded Vertebra Technology™ locking system: a structural part of the boot that facilitates power transmission on descents thanks to exceptional flexibility qualities “120-Flex”. The addition of a posterior asymmetric spoiler allows for fine-tuning of the boot fit and foot position in the shell.

• Walking Profile: the bi-axial cuff providing a 60° range of motion and the matching shell configuration make the boot compatible with AT binding systems. The 17 mm ramp-angle offers comfort even after hours of use.

• Shell Line: stiffening line defined through structural analysis on 3D models to contain shell deformation.

• EZ Flex™ Tongue: Pebax® Rnew® bio-based tongue with bellows junction: a concept derived from La Sportiva mountain boots that allows for ample movement on steep slopes. Under the tongue, there is a snow gaiter. The tongue position can also be adjusted in 3 positions, customizing the fit by 4 mm, which can greatly influence walking comfort.

• 4BT Tech Last™: the neutral shape with an internal width of 102.5 mm keeps the foot in a comfortable position to tackle very technical terrains. Similar to the shape used on Spitfire, Sideral, and Starlet but wider for more comfort in the fifth metatarsal area.

• WarmSole™ Insert: removable insulating polyurethane insole: prevents direct contact of the foot with the shell, enhancing the thermal qualities of the boot, making it the warmest 4-buckle boot on the market.

• EZ-TECH Buckles™ (patented): aluminum buckles with micrometric arm for micro-adjustments, opening, and closing operations.
