The G2 SM expedition boots from La Sportiva are specially designed for mountaineers and high-altitude expeditions where conditions are extreme. Whether on glaciers or during north face ascents, these boots provide optimal protection against freezing temperatures, even during extended missions. Their four-layer construction, combined with an integrated gaiter, ensures exceptional thermal insulation and waterproofing.

The advanced technology of the inner shell includes a blend of Cordura, felt, polyethylene, and an aluminum layer that reflects the heat generated by the foot, maintaining an ideal temperature even in severe cold. This boot is equipped with a waterproof membrane that protects against snow and water infiltration, while allowing freedom of movement thanks to its elastic and adjustable gaiter.

The Vibram sole with the Impact Brake System offers excellent grip on challenging terrains and optimal cushioning during descents. Additionally, the inner liners are breathable and removable, allowing them to be easily dried after a day of exertion.
