Its solid ABS shell and dual-density EPS liner provide an excellent balance between comfort and protection. The MIPS technology (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) adds an extra layer of safety against rotational impacts, while the integrated RECCO® reflector aids in search and rescue operations. The Calyx also features a sophisticated ventilation system that regulates airflow to dissipate heat during ascents without compromising protection during descents. Finally, the Calyx helmet ensures a perfect fit thanks to a precise adjustment system that can be stowed inside the helmet for easy transport.

• Mips evolve: protection against rotational impacts is enhanced with the inclusion of the trusted Mips Evolve system.
• RECCO® reflector: an avalanche rescue RECCO® reflector helps rescuers locate you easily and quickly in case of an emergency.
• Dual-density liner: two densities of EPS liner are used, providing extra protection in areas where most impacts occur.
• ABS shell: the ABS shell offers exceptional strength, durability, and impact resistance. Different thicknesses of materials are used throughout the helmet to best manage impact forces while maintaining a low weight.
• Adjustable fit system: the adjustable fit system makes it easy to find a comfortable and secure fit, eliminating the need to change padding.
• Parking mode adjustment system: the adjustment system can be stowed inside the helmet to take up less space when not in use – ideal for storage and transport.
• Ascent/descent ventilation: linear ventilation channels provide comfort when skiing or cycling, and top ventilation chimneys allow heat to escape during ascents.
• Fabric-covered ventilation channels: fabric covers on the front and rear ventilation channels help control airflow and prevent cooling. Deeper channels inside the helmet improve overall air circulation.
• Clips for two earpads: two attachment clips on each earpad keep them more secure. The foldable pads are very flexible and can be folded inward to take up less space for storage and transport.
• Removable goggle clip: the helmet comes with a rubber goggle clip that can be easily attached or detached.
• Neck warmer: a fleece-lined neck warmer in a color matching the helmet is included.
