First impression: the jacket is surprisingly lightweight and thin. It's easy to pack, takes little space in your bag. That's nice. I used it for ski touring during the weekend. The temperature was mild (sunshine and -1 C in the middle of the day, colder later) and the wind was moderate. The jacket blocked the wind perfectly and I did not become juicy under it. Overall it felt much better than my old softshell jacket with membrane. Most of all smelt much better at the end of the day. Today I biked to work with it in a light rain. The raindrops rested nicely on the material, did not enter. I like this isolation/breathability balance is much better than a softshell with membrane.
