Castelli: Technical and High-Performance Clothing for Your Outings
The reason Castelli is so well-known today is due to its products that boast a high level of technicality and excellent quality. To stand out from the competition, Castelli has always made innovation a cornerstone of its product development. Thus, in 1977, the first lycra cycling shorts were introduced. This material allows for an extremely aerodynamic fabric, optimising performance. Not hesitating to break the norm to stand out, Castelli designed its first coloured shorts in 1981, dressing professional cyclists when black was the only colour allowed in races.
As cycling exposes cyclists to the harshest weather conditions, Castelli quickly developed products to protect them in all circumstances. The first windproof jersey appeared in 1983, followed closely by the brand's first thermal jersey in 1984. These two products quickly gained prominence thanks to the champions who wore them. Innovations have continued since, and it’s no coincidence that Castelli is so renowned in the world of cycling today. As its founder aptly said, “I could never have revolutionised cycling clothing if I hadn’t practised myself. It’s the only way to truly understand the needs of cyclists.”
Among the wide range of products from Castelli available on the market, the following clothing items will be perfect for your cycling outings:
Warm, breathable, windproof, or even waterproof, these cycling clothes will be perfect for facing all weather conditions throughout the year.
