Bach: Serving Adventurers Since 1979
It all began in 1979 in a warehouse in Waterford, Ireland, with the creation of the 'Great Bach Packing and Construction Company'. From its early days in backpack manufacturing, Bach developed an innovative back system for the time with the Orthoflex system, a small revolution back then. In addition to its own products, Bach also made backpacks for renowned brands of the era, such as Lowe Alpine and The North Face. Over the years, Bach has slowly developed, laying the foundations of what the company is today with sleek designs, quality and robust materials, and above all, an adjustable fit.
A true turning point for Bach came in 2021, with the entry of the small Irish brand into the Scott Sports group. This was an opportunity for Bach to strengthen its international position thanks to Scott's already well-established distribution network. The first changes for Bach were not long in coming, and new products emerged, including bivouac tents. However, Bach has not forgotten its roots and retains the products that contributed to its success, updating them to meet consumer expectations as well as the current demands of hiking and other mountain treks. The Bach Equipment brand was born in 2022, now offering a complete range of equipment for outdoor activities. Products developed by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts!
