Hestra
Hestra, your ski companion
Hestra takes its name from a small Swedish village. The family brand was born in 1936, and for over 80 years, it has been developing gloves that offer warmth and comfort for your adventures. Today, the range includes numerous models of men's gloves and mittens, women and children. Some models of gloves are handmade in Europe to create the most technical and durable product possible.
To design high-performance gloves and mittens for your outdoor activities, Hestra collaborates with skiers and mountain professionals. A true guarantee of quality!
Hestra: stay warm for your adventures
Hestra gloves are undoubtedly the warmest models on the market. The system is based on the principle of layers. A bit like the 3-layer system for skiing or hiking. With this, the Norwegian cold will no longer affect you!
It’s very simple, Hestra recommends wearing, closest to your skin, a pair of liner gloves that are breathable and wick away moisture. On top, you can wear a thicker glove that acts as a thermal layer.
Finally, Hestra has developed a specific “Shell” range that can be worn over your glove. This is an additional layer ideal for extreme conditions, insulating against the cold. A real plus for static activities in the mountains.
What we love about Hestra are the numerous models of gloves and mittens, and therefore, the many possible combinations. It is possible to change the lining of your glove: switching from a synthetic lining to a wool lining, for example. Quite practical if temperatures change, or if your lining is damaged.
Remember, your hands and feet are your extremities. If you are cold, these are the first parts of your body that are affected. To fully enjoy your adventure, cover your extremities!
