• It enables direct load recovery, the creation of haul systems, and lifting or self-rescue of a person, for example, in the event of a crevasse fall (recovery pulley mode)

• In pulley mode, the rope is free to run in both directions, while in recovery pulley mode it is free to run in one direction and locks in the opposite direction

• Switching from one mode to another is intuitive and can be done even while wearing gloves or in adverse conditions
