For winter bivouacs and high-altitude expeditions, the Glacier 1000 Women's sleeping bag from Mountain Equipment offers insulation suitable for extreme temperatures. It combines 996 g of duck down with a fill power of at least 700 cuin in its long version with a Drilite® Loft 30D outer fabric, which is breathable and highly water-repellent, to better protect the filling from moisture and condensation.

Its trapezoidal baffle and slanted box-wall construction minimizes cold spots and keeps the down in place. Tailored to the female form, the Alpine Fit and EXL® technology bring the lining closer to the body to reduce air spaces that need to be warmed. The five-baffle hood, anatomical foot box, and Gemini™ insulation system around the zip complete this design aimed at retaining warmth.

With a comfort temperature of -11 °C and a manufacturer’s Good Night's Sleep rating of -21 °C, the Glacier 1000 Women's is ideal for particularly cold nights at altitude. It comes with a waterproof roll-top stuff sack and a mesh storage bag.
