The secret is its integrated and retractable cover mitten made of robust Pertex Quantum Pro. Once at the top, it quickly slips over the fingers to protect you from wind, snow, and cold during the descent. No need to change gloves!

The interior of the softshell glove is lined with soft 100% fine merino wool. Warm, but not too much. The padding on the back of the hand with 50% recycled merino wool makes the glove warm without excess. On the ascent, if you are afraid of sweating, a hidden opening on the back of the hand allows hot air to escape quickly, while on the descent the vents remain tightly closed. Perfect for long hikes and fast descents. And since Ortovox has thought of everything so you don't have to take off your gloves, the thumb and index finger area is reinforced and equipped with Smart-Finger technology to comfortably use a smartphone screen and check FatMap one last time for your descent.
