PetzlSum'Tec - Ice Axe

Designed by Petzl, the Sum'Tec is a highly versatile ice axe. Its Ice blade, tapered at the tip, ensures excellent penetration in all types of ice, while the Trigrest hand rest allows you to easily adjust the hand position according to the traction. The shaft is slightly curved to protect the hand and provide good anchoring, while remaining comfortable during walking. The Sum'Tec is especially a modular ice axe as its blades are interchangeable, as well as its hammer and adze. If necessary, you can add weights to further improve the quality of the anchoring.
