Mountain EquipmentSenja Jacket - Down jacket - Men's
Color : Obsidian
The Senja Jacket is a men's down jacket designed by Mountain Equipment to provide significant warmth without becoming too bulky during outings in cold weather. It features 220 g of 90/10 duck down with a fill power of at least 700 cuin, distributed in through-stitched compartments that maintain a good balance between insulation, weight, and compressibility. Weighing 620 g, it serves as a versatile warm layer for trekking, mountaineering, and more everyday use.
Its outer fabric, Drilite® Loft 40D, combines lightness, breathability, and resistance to wet conditions. Windproof and highly water-repellent, it boasts a water column of 1,500 mm and benefits from a PFAS-free DWR treatment. The goal is to better protect the insulation against light rain and snow while maintaining a sufficiently robust jacket for regular mountain outings.
The Mountain hood, insulated and helmet-compatible, along with an insulated collar, enhances protection when temperatures drop. The jacket also features a two-way YKK® Vislon® front zip with an insulated flap, two zippered side pockets, an inner pocket for valuables, as well as adjustable cuffs and a drawcord hem to adjust protection according to conditions.
