The Downwool 180 Hooded Jacket by Ortovox is a hooded synthetic jacket for women filled with DownWool® by Grüezi Bag®: 70% down, 30% Alpine wool. Lightweight and compact, it can be worn year-round as a mid-layer or outer layer, retaining warmth even when the air becomes humid.

The body stays warm without overheating on ascents because the wool absorbs moisture and adds loft to the down. The recycled polyamide outer fabric is windproof and sheds light rain. A 2-in-1 adjustable hood, protective collar, and extended back keep out drafts.

It is designed for intermediate to expert practitioners of ski touring, freeriding, or mountaineering who want a warm layer to put on at the summit, at the belay, or under a protective jacket when the weather turns bad. Tested and recommended by the German Mountain Guides Association (VDBS).
