The laptop sleeve opens from the outside, preventing the need to empty the bag to retrieve your laptop. The expandable compartment holds a bottle up to 950 ml, and the exterior bungee cord accommodates the jacket you take off as soon as the sun comes out. Inside, a hydration sleeve passage with a fastening loop allows you to drink while walking without removing the backpack.
